Work from the selling unit to the outer pack.
A trade order needs more than a pack weight. It needs a clear relationship between what you buy, what you handle, and what your customer receives.
Keep three units separate
The usage unit is what the customer opens or takes for one job. The selling unit is what you invoice to that customer. The shipping unit is the outer pack counted at dispatch or receipt.
Write down how those units relate. This allows both parties to reconcile a quotation without silently assuming that a pack means the same thing at every stage.
Ask about the physical pack
Use the planner to prepare a request. Its routes do not imply that a particular pack material, size, or format is available. Ask sales to establish those details in the quotation.
- Net contents separately from wrapping weight.
- Material, closure, and handling after opening.
- Unit count inside each outer pack.
- Product identity and receiving-point marks.
