What this site is for

Juragan Arang is a guide to the coconut shell charcoal and briquette industry in Indonesia. It is written for food-stall owners, grill restaurants, small businesses and charcoal traders. We use short sentences and explain terms, so you do not need a technical background.

The topics: lumps against briquettes, what moves the price, what the charcoal is used for, how to weigh and check a delivery, and how to trial a sample on your own grill.

Who publishes it

The site is published by PT Kora Prima Abadi in Bogor. Kora is one of the producers of shell charcoal and briquettes discussed here, and we say so openly. Other producers are named as they are and only with facts they published themselves, with a link and the date read. There is no ranking, and no producer is called the top one.

Figures printed by producers are each party’s own claims, not our test results. When a figure is not printed, it means there is no evidence yet. It does not mean zero.

What is inside and how to read it

Begin with the end-use brief, then read about lump charcoal and shaped briquettes, the packing plan and the wholesale checklist. The Indonesian pages cover the same topics.

Short notes sit on the blog, for example lump charcoal vs briquettes, coconut shell charcoal price per kg, what coconut shell charcoal is used for, sizing a monthly charcoal need and checking a delivery at the door.

Kora products can still be asked about

If you want to know about Kora products there are two pages: lump shell charcoal and coconut shell briquettes. The products page puts them side by side. They are one option, not the only one.

Where the information stops

The packing planner and the checklist prepare a conversation. They are not a quotation and do not confirm that stock is available. Prices, timing and terms are settled with sales when a quotation is made.

How to ask Kora for a quotation

Describe your business, the expected quantity with its unit, the destination and the grill or stove you use, through the inquiry page or the contact page. WhatsApp +62 813-1527-280 and [email protected] also work. The first reply comes within 2 business days.
