Entry 02 · Juragan Arang

Lump charcoal needs a shared buying description.

The product name alone cannot settle the contents of a trade order. Make size, quantity, and the agreed reference explicit.

Ask how the offered pieces are described

Request the proposed size range and the way it is measured. A photograph without scale is not a dimensional specification. If equipment imposes a limit, put that requirement in the brief.

Discuss how small pieces and fines will be described in the quotation. This page does not assign a limit or promise a particular assortment.

Keep the sample traceable

An observation from one setup should not become a promise for every customer. Request supporting product data for the goods being discussed.

  • Use a sample reference that both parties can identify later.
  • Record the equipment and trial conditions used by the end customer.
  • Resolve differences between the trial notes and the proposed order.

Reconcile the weight and count

Ask for net weight per pack and the number of outer units. Make sure the unit on the quotation is the unit used in your buying calculation. Available packing and acceptance arrangements are established with sales.

Keep unknown figures open.
